Distribution & Transport Co-ordinator

As a Distribution & Transport Co-ordinator you will actively report into the on-site Distribution Manager at the Rotherham manufacturing site. You will have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Day to day responsibilities will include, but not limited to; daily checks on transport orders, shipment management, POD retrieval, and updating system.
• Handling customer enquiries via telephone and email, dealing with both inbound and outbound communication.
• Daily checks on transport orders to ensure they have been collected and delivered in line with Customer requirements.
• Responsibility for MOT's, TACHO, RFL, Accounts, Fuel Cards and Driver information within a company wide fleet management systems.
• Working alongside the transport supervisor and supporting the day-to-day planning of vehicles.
• Booking in collections and deliveries.
• Liaise with drivers & customer service teams regarding ETAs and problem solving.
• Checking the driver paperwork is accurate and correct.
• Administration duties include extensive data inputting, filing, keeping staff records up to date.
