Job Description

Your new role:

The purpose of this position is to provide support across the organisation on all matters concerning our Internal Controls Framework.

  • Offer valuable insights and promote best practices to enhance the internal control environment.
  • Develop and implement updates to checklists and controls, as well as create new procedures in response to changes in regulations, feedback from the business, and newly identified risks/incidents.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of all policies, procedures, and checklists to ensure they are strong, scalable, and aligned with the evolving business requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide advice on implementing necessary controls due to technological changes.
  • Assist in the execution of the audit program in conjunction with external auditors.
  • Support in creating testing procedures.
  • Evaluate and analyse tests conducted by other team members.
  • Analyse results to offer feedback and suggest themes for enhancing controls and making improvements.
  • Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders to implement measurable improvements based on review outcomes, including addressing specific training and development requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Internal Controls Analyst will have:

  • 1-2 years work experience in an internal controls / quality assurance / internal audit role.
  • Very high level of integrity and dependability.
  • Strong internal and external communication and excellent interpersonal skills, together, with the ability to develop good working relationships within the business.
  • Some practical experience in developing policies and procedures would be an advantage.
  • Logical approach and ability to analyse data and strong excel skills.
