IT Administrator - Public Sector

Our client are recruiting an IT Administrator - Public Sectorto join the Technical Service team; reporting directly to senior management. Responsibilities include:

* Assist with the configuration and management of software licensing across the Constabulary, via our Software Asset Management software solution.

* Work with Service Managers to ensure all license agreements are up-to-date and valid.

* Report on the usage of software and identify cost savings to the constabulary.

* Report on the compliance of software licenses and escalate risks to senior management.

* Assist SMT and Service Managers with procurement requirements.

* The role will also assist SMT in the financial management of both capital and revenue budgets under the control of ICT.

The successful applicant will contribute to the smooth-running of this large department and support the delivery of our key business objectives. They will provide resilience as this role will supplement and mirrors an existing role in providing administrative support to the Senior Management Team and the whole ICT business area.

The role reports directly to the Technical Services Manager and it is expected the successful candidate should preferably have at least 2 years' experience in office administration and stock or financial control in a similar environment.

Candidate must be willing to undergo the relevant security vetting for this role.
