Save JobEmail job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsWorking for a global leader in human clinical trialsGreat Progression OpportunitiesAbout Our ClientMy client is a rapidly growing contract research organisation (CRO) and a global leader in using human clinical trials.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Research Scientist based in London, you will:Manage and conduct the analytical phase of clinical studies according to the agreed protocol and timelines to GCP standards.Perform and train others in assigned scientific assays with high degree of independence.Lead all lab activities for a given client project, including writing analytical plans, planning and conduct of sample processing and analysing, data management, and delivery to the client.Monitor studies to ensure adherence to the Scope of Work and evaluate progress of designated projects against timelines and budget.Record all information and data obtained in experiments according to established procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).The Successful ApplicantTo be a successful Senior Research Scientist, the ideal candidate will have:Strong Background in Biomedical Science/related (Immunology/Virology Desirable).Ideally a minimum of 6 years' experience working in a GCP environment as part of a CRO and Pharmaceutical Company.Familiarity with key virology techniques including tissue culture, cell-based infectivity assays and qPCR.Experience in leading project teams and delivering quality data in a time pressured environment.What's on OfferThis is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming organisation that is a global leader in clinical trials!
