Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the below:

  • Contributing to annual sales plan
  • Carrying out sales activities for target accounts and sectors
  • Leading the proposal and quotation process
  • Preparing sales offers and presenting them to customers
  • Preparing the Sales pipeline document, keeping the document up to date
  • Forwarding the weekly status report about the sales activities to the manager
  • Taking part in Sales Process developments, to be responsible for the definition, documentation and operation of the process
  • Searching for new prospective customers in line with vision, carrying out promotional activities and bringing these prospects into customer portfolio
  • Regularly entering data into CRM system and maintaining up-to-date.
  • Managing all relations with assigned customers
  • Engaging in new business development activities related to assigned customers
  • Contributing to our vision of developing new products and creating a new market
  • Preparing and presenting presentations on products and services
  • Preparing and participating in contract negotiations
  • Following the collections of the customers in the portfolio
  • Taking part in trade shows/conferences/events and staffing booth
  • Examining the marketing plan, making comments in line with sales expectations
  • Participating in the development of relations with Partners
  • Apart from this, fulfill all kinds of instructions given by the manager / supervisor



The Successful Applicant

As a Business Development Manager, you will need:

  • 3-8 years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software solution selling. SaaS solutions sales experience to the Banking industry preferred
  • Experience with software business and technologies across a wide range of industries especially in finance/retail industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Command level in Malay is a plus
  • Ability to identify and communicate with target customers
  • Excellent corporate account management
