Head of Economic Regulation

I am currently recruiting for a Head of Economic Regulation with a utilities business in the Home Counties (hybrid working). You will:

• Lead economic thinking and input into the 2024 price review and wider regulatory cycle to deliver great outcomes for the business and its customers.
• Provide inspiring leadership for a team of 5 analysts to deliver high quality influential advice.
• Deputise for the Chief Economist, building trust and confidence with senior members of the company.
• Shaping analysis on consultations, investigations, and licence mechanisms, drafting papers for the Exec and Board, and supporting the wider business in navigating the regulatory environment.
• Developing productive external networks to influence regulatory issues for the benefit of the sector and wider society.
• Extending economic expertise to applications beyond regulation, influencing key partners across a range of business functions.
