You will provide expertise across a range of employee relations and IR case management, including; performance management, absence, disciplinary, capability, grievances, appeals and probationary issues.Key responsibilities include:Managing a dedicated and skilled team to deliver a professional and best in class service to the businessCoaching and develop a team of advisors to support managers and meet agreed SLAs and KPI'sBuilding effective stakeholder relationships across the business to ensure the service is working in partnership with the management teams.Providing consistent, effective and professional advice to managers at all levels, ensuring the team applies the correct procedures and up to date advice, in line with employment law requirements and trade union agreementsWorking closely with other members of the HR management team to lead on employee relations and provide recommendation for employee casework process improvementsProactively overseeing and managing end to end complex employee relations cases and coaching line managers as required on how to address those people issues.The Successful ApplicantTo be successful in the HR Team Lead role you will need to be/have:An experienced HR professional used to dealing with trade unions with expertise in employment law, TUPE, and managing organisational consultation programmesStrong team management experienceSignificant experience of ER casework, delivered operationally in an organisation via a centralised approach.Up-to-date employment law knowledge, practical application on case management and ability to apply and implement process and policy changeSolid understanding and experience in applying employee relations and employment practices to manage employee issuesAn understanding of and experience in the application of insight and using data to implement change and monitor performanceThe ability to collaborate and build relationships across a complex organisationAvailable immediately or on short notice, able to start in July.What's on OfferThis excellent HR Team Lead role will be a great opportunity to join an organisation providing a valuable service.On offer is:Salary £50-55k plus package12 month fixed term contractLeeds base with hybrid working, 1-2 days in officeImmediate startContactMelanie ParkesQuote job refJN-062023-6101626Phone number+44 113 388 9025Job summaryJob functionHuman ResourcesSubsectorEmployee RelationsSectorTransport & DistributionLocationLeedsContract typeTemporaryConsultant nameMelanie ParkesConsultant phone+44 113 388 9025Job referenceJN-062023-6101626
