These include specific capabilities such as the development of biological drugs for clinical trials through Phase III and small-scale commercial manufacturing. Other services include protein engineering, cell line development, immunology services, bioanalytical and bioassay services and chemistry and bioconjugation, including Antibody Drug Conjugation (ADC).ResponsibilitiesIdentify new leads and opportunities for all business unitsLead the nurture and growth opportunities with established clientsProvide solutions to clients to help ensure their success in getting their products developed and manufactured to provide therapies or reagents for patientsBuild relationships and partnerships with third parties who are using any of the company services or technologies to maximise commercial opportunitiesIdentify opportunities for strategic relationships with academic and commercial organisations to embed company capabilities as a primary service and technology providerIdentify market-led opportunities to extend service offerings and to ensure that the current offerings remain competitiveCollaborate with other members of the Business Development, Scientific, Technology and Proposal teams to maximise the potential for client and company successThe Successful ApplicantA successful and proven new business developer of CDMO services, preferably in biologics or chemistry and ideally ADCs. You will also demonstrate:The desire and commitment to proactively develop and will new businessPossess excellent communications skillsProven ability to negotiate high-value and complex contracts to closeBS degree or Master in Life Sciences, or related areasKnowledge and experience in developing sales in the early stage of product developmentExperience of transferable CRO (Contract Research Organisations) can be considered.What's on OfferHighly competitive basic plus 60-70% bonus and benefits.
