My client exists to ensure the built environment is a catalyst for positive change. They provide a range of consultancy services - including public affairs, public relations, political engagement and social value - to build support for new development.

Job Description

The Account Director's key responsibilities will include:

  • Independently directing projects to ensure the best quality work is delivered for clients in a way which is innovative, timely and responsive to the project.
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for business development in collaboration with the team and wider business.
  • Managing team members and supporting their growth and development.
  • Thinking strategically and taking a creative approach to complex challenges and opportunities.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the community and political contexts our clients operate in and using this to provide first class counsel to clients.
  • Managing project finances to ensure value is delivered for clients and business.
  • Playing an active role in the company culture, working closely with the wider business and accurately reporting to the senior management team.

The Successful Applicant

The skills and experience my client is looking for in the Account Director position:

  • Excellent leadership and management.
  • Track record of business development.
  • Commercial awareness and creative thinking.
  • Good built environment industry knowledge.
  • Innovative community/stakeholder engagement and/or approaches to social value.
  • Good project management skills with strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.

Based in Bristol.
