About Our Client

We are in partnership with a highly regulated public sector organisation in the Nuclear Waste industry who are responsible for the safe and secure cleanup of 13 UK sites, with 3 research centres and one hydroelectric plant.

You will have the opportunity to join on a hybrid working basis (roughly two days per week at a chosen site).

  • Ensure communications are aligned to the company's key messages and strategies.
  • Advise internal stakeholders seeking to promote specific areas of corporate activity on appropriate channels and messaging.
  • Implement informative and engaging employee communications campaigns.
  • Write, edit, and update content for the company intranet.
  • Write and edit the company electronic newsletters, working to deadline.
  • Research and write engaging communications stories for our workforce.
  • Support delivery of company-wide events.
  • Create engaging content for social media sites and running social media campaigns.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification or equivalent
  • Business/Marketing/PR/Media qualification
  • Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Working within a communications/public relations environment
  • Demonstrated experience of building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and customers
  • Experience of working with a range of multimedia tools
  • Project management experience

Flexibility to work unsociable hours when required

Full and clean driving licence

Salary £37,150 - £40,000
