Job Description

  • Provide the primary personal link for the partnered Dealerships and create a proactive working environment and partnership with the dealers at all levels.
  • Develop 'Challenger Brand' Strategy medium and long term to increase Market Share.
  • Work in conjunction with high-performing Robotic dealers to create best practice guide.
  • Organise and run regional dealer meetings to share updates, training and coaching refreshers, helpful tips and shortcuts.
  • Support Area Sales Managers through coaching at Sales Meetings on product updates and sales best practice.
  • Support the dealers on Sales & Marketing Strategy so every dealer has a 12 month plan - Building Consideration and Awareness in the dealers territory.
  • Support Corporate Sales Manager to secure sales into major corporate accounts.
  • Work together with Customer & Area Sales Manager team to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Provide in-dealer coaching on sales and installation.
  • Manage and motivate franchised dealer staff at all levels to consistently provide customers with excellent customer service and to achieve overall divisional objectives.
  • Liaise, plan and assist with local promotions, shows and PR and utilise the national show programmes to best advantage for the product groups in the area and nationally.

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge of the automotive, techinical, electronic goods industry advantageous
  • Similar role in manufacturer/retail environment preferred; Technical Sales, Product Management, Sales Engineer etc
  • Understanding of the dealer business or distributor sector
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of selling and achieving commercial targets
  • Experience of collaborating with a team to achieve set objectives
  • Analytical skills to collate and present relevant data
  • Full driving license and the commitment to travel extensively so that sales results and extensive dealer contact are maintained
