Corporate Solicitor - non private practice opportunity

This is a role for a Corporate Solicitor to join an organisation to assist mainly on M&A work on two fronts:

- acting for the organisation's mixed client base (mainly made up of OMBs and SMEs)

- acting for the business itself on its M&A and Corporate work as an in-house solicitor

From a client perspective, the team predominantly advise on the seller side. The work is largely M&A work but there will be general Corporate work such as reorganisations, shareholders' agreements and ad hoc advice.

From the in-house perspective, the business is very acquisitive and has big growth plans. The team has advised the business on around 4 bolt on acquisitions in the last year or so.

This is a very different role than a typical Corporate role in a law firm and you will need demonstrate that you want to do something different and have perhaps come to the end of the road in your private practice journey. To be transparent, the business still time records - so the desire to move in-house and move away from a law firm needs to be something more substantial than just avoiding time recording.
