Save JobEmail job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsWork on a broad variety of engineering projects and be hands on.Providing specialist and technically demanding inputAbout Our ClientRoughan & O'Donovan is a Director-owned, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy business that has been in operation for over 40 years.Please see our client profile that will tell you more.Job DescriptionAs a design engineer, you will be providing specialist and technically demanding input to bridge and multidisciplinary civil engineering projects.Your responsibilities will include:Working with both existing and new bridges and civil structures across a range of materials and forms, superstructure, substructure and articulation elementsInputting at early project stages to scopes, specifications and interpretations of surveys, inspection and investigative works, optioneering, scheme designDetailed design: modelling, calculations, drawing productionDocument contributions, including authoring technical reports, such as AIPs, specifications and contract documentsAssisting in the review of others' work: cat 3 checking as a client representative and designer's site representativeSupporting graduate engineers as they progress towards chartership.
