Legal Counsel

Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will have the following responsibilities:

• The review and negotiation of licence agreements, sponsorship contracts and other commercial contracts for the UK and internationally.
• Assisting the business with new customer procurement processes when on-boarding external suppliers and customers
• Ensuring consumer facing materials are compliant with relevant laws
• Legal know-how: helping to keep the business and the legal team up to date on relevant legislation; legal research; reporting and presenting updates within the organisation;
• Organisation and risk management: taking the lead in maintaining our internal contract management database; working to identify and mitigate risk within our contracts and processes;
• The provision of a legal advisory function to the organisation
• Scope for involvement in IP portfolio, contentious and non-contentious matters
