Involved on a range of low-medium value commercial valuations, predominately loan-security with some fund work, they have a very well established client base and an ongoing stable pipeline of work. The reason for hiring now is due to growth, and a Director of Valuations is sought to oversee the ongoing development of the Valuations team to ensure the utmost quality of service to their client base. Applicants can frankly be based anywhere in the Midlands/North of England as travel to Doncaster will only intermittently be required.Job DescriptionAll the typical responsibilities of a Valuation Surveyor will be involved in this role, meaning you will be conducting Valuation Surveys, compiling reports, maintaining client relationships, coordinating with other Surveyors in the firm etc. As Director you will also be overseeing business development, strategic direction/growth of the valuation department, and line management of 1 or 2 other Valuation Surveyors in the firm. Really the specifics of the role can be discussed and determined at offer stage of the process to ensure all parties are happy and comfortable.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will be an experienced, qualified, and registered Valuation Surveyor with existing AD or Director job title. They will be experience with valuing a range of commercial properties and be used to working fairly independently. The individual will be ambitious, driven, and energetic to facilitate the ongoing growth of this department and be able to operate as a leader within the business.What's on OfferA competitive and flexible package is on offer that would typically fit within £60000-£70000 with a c.£5K car allowance and annual bonus scheme included. I understand the bonus scheme to be 10% of all billings over £100000 per anum, uncapped. This role is exceptionally flexible, promotes Independence of thinking, but also offers the chance to play a senior leadership role in a thriving regional firm.
