Through wider collaboration, working with our clinical and non-clinical colleagues, we deliver economies of scale, better data sharing, best practice, remove unwarranted variation from our practices and supply base, to maximise value and efficiencies.Job DescriptionThe role enables an individual to work autonomously, developing relationships locally, regionally and nationally, working with colleagues to deliver an annual work plan as well as supporting junior members of the team in delivering the Category Strategy and navigating business as usual tasks.This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring procurement professional to develop their skill set, through the management and delivery of strategically critical procurements, as well as providing an opportunity to develop management and leadership skills by managing junior members of the Team.A key part of the role is to develop a wide range of stakeholder relationships and establish clinical and non-clinical reference groups to further discussions about current and future opportunity. The role will also provide opportunity to expand your network and develop relationships across the region as well as on the national stage.The role also requires an understanding of the procurement strategy, local and national legislation as well as market factors that are impacting our professional and personal lives today.
