Broxtowe a very pleasant place to live and work. Nearly two thirds of the land in Broxtowe is open countryside with a number of areas noted for their particular charm, and preserved as conservation areas.
The Council Property assets include 4,500 social housing units, operational properties, a large part of Beeston Town Centre including a recently-completed cinema & restaurant development, business premises and corporate offices. There are also a number of exciting development projects in the pipeline, including a £21 million Towns Fund initiative in Stapleford, a new house-building programme, our successful ‘Levelling-up’ bid for Kimberley (£16 million) our proposed plans for new leisure facilities.
In August 2022, Broxtowe Borough Council were successfully awarded Disability Confident Leader status following external validation. The Council previously held the ‘Two Ticks’ disability scheme status and voluntarily became a Disability Confident Employer following the introduction of the new scheme in 2016.

The two roles sit in the Asset Management and Development division. This team provides estates management, project management and facilities management services across all council departments, bringing industry best practice to support the cost-effective delivery of core businesses.
