Develop, implement and maintain the overall procurement and contract management strategy whilst identifying and delivering value for money procurement savings.
The role is responsible for supporting the leadership team in developing and implementing a company wide approach to Contract Management: promotion, implementation & training out Policies, Procedures and Framework and most importantly to monitor and report on the impact of improved Contract Management processes. In addition, you will support the business in the management of suppliers and contracts and ensuring appropriate relationships are intact.
You will be accountable for end to end management a portfolio for you category area. Working with stakeholders to understand and challenge demand, set sourcing strategy, deliver events from market engagement through to award and drive value through contract management.
The post-holder will support the Head of Procurement to plan, manage, administer and deliver the compliant procurement of new framework agreements, long term contracts and the DPS, with support from the organisations team colleagues and member representatives.
